Thai HealthBaby lab report

The headquarters of Thai HealthBaby, HealthBanks, and our Hong Kong branch, HealthBaby, have both already received the international recognized accreditation of American Association of Blood Bank (AABB). This accreditation means that our HealthBanks and HealthBaby lab is monitored by a professional third party, a team of experts from AABB. Guidelines are provided for laboratory processing requiring us to perform maternal blood testing; this information is crucial for future transplantation uses. Similarly, Thai HealthBaby follows the value of providing trustworthiness and quality to our clients, our local lab follows AABB regulations for the tests in the maternal blood and cord blood.

Thai HealthBaby Contract

With the constant progression of medical technology, the potential of cord blood stem cells will be fulfilled with its application extended. Our values is to provide the best possible preparation for future transplantation uses for clients, to guarantee the viability of stem cells after thawing meet international transplantation standard. Details on the contract include:

1. Responsibility for damage compensation
If the cord blood stem cells are damaged during the transportation process or does not meet clinical transplantation standards, besides from refunding the total amount of payment made, Thai HealthBaby holds responsibility in providing a HLA matched stem cell unit from searching at public banks worldwide, if Thai HealthBaby fails to do so a damage compensation of 15,000 USD ~ 25,000 USD (depending on storage plan chosen) will be made. 2. Retrieval of stem cell is free of charge

While some cord blood banks require an extra transportation fee when stem cells are retrieved, at Thai HealthBaby the retrieval and transportation of the stem cell unit within Thailand is free of charge (Clause 4.1) If the stem cell unit requires transportation to an overseas location, only the cost of the plane ticket is required because our staff will need to hand carry the stem cell unit in a Cryoshipper.
